For some couples a custom ceremony is not a necessary element of their wedding day. They may wish to spend their time and financial resources on other aspects of their celebration.  A simple ceremony can still be personalized with the couple's selections of readings and vows.  We will work with you to create a beautiful ceremony that  speaks in your choice of language and tone.

Premarital Counseling!

Mini intro course $275

I am a trained facilitator for the Prepare Enrich Program and I offer a choice of options for premarital preparation that is part of an established course of pastoral care counseling.

PREPARE/ENRICH is a customized couple assessment that identifies a couple's strength and growth areas. It is one of the most widely used programs for premarital counseling and premarital education. It is also used for marriage counseling, marriage enrichment, and couples considering engagement. Based on your assessment results, I provide feedback sessions in which I facilitate discussion and understanding of your results, and assist in demonstrating proven relationship skills.

Mini course=2 sessions & full course=4 sessions

The State of Minnesota offers a reduction of Marriage Licensing Fees with the Certified Completion of the Full Course of Marriage Preparation/Counseling!

A Civil Ceremony, Elopement or Micro Wedding!

available for you and your two witnesses or up to twenty-five guests. we can create an intimate and beautiful Civil Wedding Ceremony or  Pop up Micro wedding!

There is not a "Justice of the Peace" in Minnesota...so why wait at the courthouse under fluorescent lights for a judge to become available?!  I have some suggestions for great spaces, or maybe you have your own...i'm happy to join you at your location. my office at semple mansion is available for the two of you and two witnesses...and sometimes we provide the witnesses!

Thinking of having a friend or relative be your official witness?  While we recommend hiring a professional we can also understand the draw, and the idea can be delightful...however, it is in your best interest to be best prepared!  There are many reasons why there are professionals in the field, and we are ready to share some very valuable insight with you and your new "officiant" of choice! There is certainly a lot more to the beautiful calling of tying the knot than getting an online license! let us consult with you and offer guidelines to ensure you enjoy the process of creating your ceremony, orchestrating your processional, and answering the many questions you simply had not yet thought to ask!  Let us save you the stress by knowing answers before you know you need them! "How to have a friend be an officiant?" can be the best question to follow "will you marry me?"
